My name is Deirdre Souchere, and I am delighted to welcome you to my clinic Inner Light Acupuncture and Healing Therapies based in both Blackrock, South Co Dublin and Tinahely, Co Wicklow. I treat all general health conditions and have a special interest in women's health, fertility, IVF support, pregnancy, and childbirth. I offer a range of holistic treatments for all your acupuncture and herbal needs including stress management, facial rejuvenation, sports injuries, back pain management, headaches, stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, digestive problems, smoking cessation and much more. I also offer food intolerance testing. 

I am a fully qualified and licensed Acupuncturist, I trained at the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland under Professor Jin Huide, Dr Wu Jidong and Dr Meng Fanyi. I completed my post-graduate clinical training in the Government Hospital of Nanjing China under Dr Ouyang.

I am a fully qualified Herbalist, and have studied the Fertile Body Method, a mind body approach to fertility which acknowledges the importance of working with fertility problems in a holistic way. I am passionate about supporting couples trying to conceive and assisting women throughout their pregnancy and postpartum. 

I am a founding member of Acupuncture for Fertility & Pregnancy Ireland, a group of established and registered acupuncturists who specialise in the treatment of fertility, pregnancy, obstetrics and gynaecology. I am also a memeber of the Womens Natural Health Practice. I have completed several specialised training courses in the area of fertility, assisted reproduction, pregnancy and post partum care including a post graduate diploma course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with London based medical consultant Dr Trevor Wing, training with Zita West in London, an advanced diploma in fertility acupuncture with Naava Carman and many more.  Full list of my training.

I have studied and practise many different styles of acupuncture, including Master Tung Acupuncture, Dr. Tan's Balance Method, Neo-Classical Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, Abdominal Acupuncture and much more.  I returned to China in 2015 for further training with Dr. Wang Ju-Yi in Applied Channel Theory.

I also teach Yoga, Pilates, Qi Gong and Tai Chi which complements many of my treatments.
